Hunter's Garage is looking for an entry-level Shop Assistant to join our 8-bay shop. No experience needed—train on the job and grow toward Lube Technician or Apprentice Mechanic roles. You will work alongside experienced automotive professionals to gain hands-on experience.

This full-time position is a great starting point for someone interested in becoming a Lube Technician, Apprentice Mechanic, or General Service Technician.

No experience is required. Bring a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn—we’ll provide ongoing training and opportunities to advance.

What You’ll Do

As our Shop Assistant, you’ll help keep our 8-bay automotive shop clean, safe, organized, and running smoothly. You’ll also gain valuable hands‑on experience while working alongside experienced automotive professionals.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning and organizing the shop
• Checking in vehicles and performing quality-control checks
• Washing and waxing vehicles
• Picking up and delivering parts as needed
• Replacing wiper blades
• Checking and adjusting tire pressure
• Checking batteries
• Replacing cabin and engine air filters
• Assisting the team with other shop duties as needed

Pay, Schedule & Benefits

• Starting pay of $16.00 per hour
• Full-time, Monday through Friday
• No weekends
