Rydell Chevrolet in Waterloo, Iowa, is seeking an Automotive Shipping & Receiving Associate for the Parts Department. This full-time, non-exempt role focuses on receiving, stocking, and distributing auto parts efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment.

You will verify shipments, maintain inventory records, and support the team with daily tasks while adhering to safety and company procedures. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to lift and move parts and materials as required.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and unload incoming parts shipments.
• Verify shipment accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
• Label, stock, and organize inventory in designated locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts.
• Prepare outgoing shipments and transfers.
• Keep warehouse and storage areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist Parts Department personnel with inventory needs.
• Follow company safety procedures and operational standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What You'll Own

As a Shipping & Receiving Associate, you play a critical role in supporting our Parts Department and ensuring inventory is received, organized, and distributed efficiently.

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• Forklift experience or certification preferred but not required
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
