Job summary

Rydell Chevrolet in Waterloo, IA is seeking an Automotive Shipping & Receiving Associate to join the Parts Department. You will receive, inspect, and unload incoming parts, label and stock inventory, and assist with transfers and outgoing shipments.

The role requires a High School Diploma, prior warehouse experience preferred, strong organization and attention to detail, and the ability to lift parts. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth in a team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Forklift experience or certification preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to lift and move parts and materials as required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and unload incoming parts shipments
• Verify shipment accuracy and reconcile discrepancies
• Label, stock, and organize inventory in designated locations
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform daily, weekly, and scheduled cycle counts of parts and other automotive goods and investigate discrepancies as necessary.
• Prepare outgoing shipments and transfers
• Keep warehouse and storage areas clean, organized, and safe
• Assist Parts Department personnel with inventory needs
• Follow company safety procedures and operational standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned

What You'll Own
