Job summary

Herb Chambers Honda of Burlington is seeking an Automotive Service Valet. You will greet arriving customers for service, check in their vehicles, and move cars from the service drive to the shop, ensuring a positive first impression and smooth flow.

This role offers a pay range of $19.00–$21.00 per hour with weekly pay, plus comprehensive benefits, paid holidays, training, and other employee perks to support your growth within our dealership network.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate manual transmission is highly preferred.
• Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug test).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and obtain vehicle information at the car when possible.
• Assist the Service Advisor in helping customers while maintaining organization in the service drive.
• Move the customer's vehicle following the greeting process in a safe and secure manner.
• Retain keys according to departmental safeguard procedures.
• Actively promote effective working relationships with associates and departments in the dealership.
• Follow dealership procedures for active vehicle delivery of the customer's vehicle, contributing to CSI.
• Readily assist fellow dealership personnel to ensure full functioning of the dealership.
• Ability to work outdoors and on your feet for extended periods of time.

(Wage is comprised of base salary and % of department profit to be determined as part of pay plan). The Valet/Lot Attendant is the initial contact at the dealership for the arriving service customer. Tasked with meeting and greeting customers when they arrive for service and checking them in for their appointment. It is their responsibility to move vehicles from the service drive to the shop.
