Job summary

Responsibilities

• Make outbound campaign calls to customers who have equity or could lower payments by upgrading.
• Engage service customers, greet them, and build rapport while they wait for repairs.
• Analyze repair orders with service advisors to spot trade-in opportunities.
• Present upgrade options, highlighting lower payments, warranty coverage, and maintenance costs.
• Partner with Service Advisors and Sales Managers to appraise trade-ins quickly and accurately.
• Manage leads and follow-ups via phone, text, and email; schedule test drives or appraisals.
• Deliver a no-pressure customer experience focused on smart financial decisions.

About the Role

Are you great at building trust and talking with people, but want a role with higher earning potential? Kenny Ross Subaru is looking for a driven, customer-focused Service-to-Sales Consultant.

In this role, you will sit at the unique intersection of our service drive and our sales showroom. When customers bring their vehicles in for maintenance or major repairs, you connect with them, facilitate an evaluation of their vehicle’s age and repair costs, and introduce them to the option of upgrading to a reliable new or pre-owned vehicle instead of sinking money into an old car.

No prior car sales experience is required—if you have a background in service advising, hospitality, retail, or customer service, we will provide full training!

What You’ll Do

• Make outbound campaign calls:Contact customers who have equity in their current vehicle or could lower their current lease or loan payments by upgrading to a new model.
• Engage Service Customers: Greet and build rapport with clients visiting the service department while they wait for repairs or oil changes.
• Analyze & Consult: Review repair orders with service advisors to spot high-mileage or high-repair-cost vehicles that might be a great candidate for trade-in.
• Present Upgrade Options: Show customers the financial benefits of trading in their current vehicle for a newer model (lower monthly payments, warranty coverage, lower maintenance costs).
• Partner with Sales & Service Teams: Work closely with Service Advisors and Sales Managers to appraise trade-ins quickly and accurately.
• Manage Leads & Follow-Ups: Track customer interactions, follow up via phone, text, and email, and schedule test drives or appraisal appointments.
• Deliver a No-Pressure Experience: Focus on helping customers make a smart financial decision rather than using high-pressure sales tactics.

Compensation: Base Hourly/Salary + Commission + Performance Bonuses (Estimated OTE: $45,000 – $80,000+ per year)

Hours:7am-3pm M-F
