Job summary

Moran Automotive is seeking a Senior Master Technician to join our Sterling Heights service team. You will perform a broad range of mechanical services, diagnose complex issues, and deliver top-quality workmanship while maintaining exemplary customer communication.

The ideal candidate holds ASE or State Master certification with at least 1 year of experience and a passion for staying current with automotive technology.

Qualifications

• ASE Certification or State Master Certified required or preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as Automotive Technician; Master Technician preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
• Excellent communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of mechanical services on various vehicles in a timely and efficient manner.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Provide accurate and detailed reports of repairs and services performed.
• Ensure all work meets highest standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain and update technical knowledge through training and certifications.
• Communicate effectively with customers about repairs and services.
• Collaborate with the service team to keep a clean, organized workspace.

What We're Looking For

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
