Job summary

I-5 Cars in Washington state seeks an experienced Service Technician for our fast-paced service department. You will diagnose and repair automotive systems and communicate with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Technician in automotive retail.
• Ability to inspect and diagnose vehicle systems using diagnostic tools.
• Strong communication with customers and Service Advisor.

Responsibilities

• Ensure service and repair assignments meet high Service Standards.
• Assist with recommending additional work and communicate with ASM.
• Test drive vehicles and inspect components and systems.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C, etc.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional repairs and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
