Job summary

Zolman Tire, Inc. is seeking General Automotive Service Technicians for multiple Indiana and Michigan locations. Responsibilities include tire installation, balancing, preventive maintenance, and light mechanical repairs.

You will work with supervisors to diagnose issues, communicate with customers, and ensure safe, efficient service in a fast-paced shop. We offer weekly pay, a robust benefit package and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Remove, install, rotate, balance tires and perform flat repairs per TIA guidelines.
• Inspect tread depth, air pressure, and defects; report repairs.
• Inspect vehicles using forms and communicate findings to supervisor.
• Perform basic maintenance: oil changes, lubrication, filter/fluid checks.
• Raise/lower vehicles safely with jacks; operate shop machinery.
• Read work orders and complete listed tasks accurately.
• Educate customers on diagnoses and provide excellent service.
• Assist with loading/unloading deliveries.
• Reset TPMS as needed; organize tire racks and displays.
• Maintain housekeeping and general shop duties.
