Zolman’s Best One Tire & Auto Care in South Bend, Indiana is seeking an experienced Automotive Repair Technician / Mechanic who values safety and teamwork.

Essential Functions

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic scan tools and equipment
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and recommend repairs
• Replace suspension parts and perform alignments
• Maintain accurate records of all services performed and parts used
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance to Service Advisors, management, and customers
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards and protocols

• Sense of sound: Ringing telephones, alarms, horns and motorized equipment
• PPE: Wear personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves, footwear)

Skills & Abilities

Education

• High school graduate or GED

Experience

• 2‑4 years’ experience as a mechanic in the tire and service industry
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems (engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems)
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail

Certifications / Licenses

• Valid driver’s license; driving record must meet company’s insurance requirements
