Job summary

Gaynor's Automotive in Clark County, WA, has an opening for a General Service Technician to perform non-technical service repairs such as oil changes and tire services. Training is provided to progress toward ASE certifications in automotive tech. Compensation varies from $20-$25/hr depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections following all guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by supervision.
• Notes obvious repairs or safety concerns using the Repair Order system.
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop, service area, and showroom.
