Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Liberty, NC is seeking a General Service Technician to perform non-technical automotive service repairs such as oil changes and tire/wheel services, plus assisting with driving customers, picking up parts, and keeping the shop clean.

This role requires at least 1 year of previous experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license. Compensation starts at $15–$22 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by the manager.
• Notes any obvious repairs or safety concerns and records conditions in the inspection/repair order.
• Maintains shop cleanliness and safely transports customers or parts as needed.
