Job summary

Sun Devil Auto in Phoenix is seeking a General Service Technician to perform non-technical automotive services such as oil changes, tire mounting, wheel balancing, and basic inspections.

The role involves driving customers, picking up parts, maintaining shop cleanliness, and following safety guidelines while supporting shop managers. Compensation starts at $15.15/hour with room to grow based on experience, and a tool/boot program is included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• State Inspector License or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by management.
• Observes vehicle condition and notes obvious repairs or safety concerns.
• Maintains shop cleanliness and organization.
• Safely transports customers and picks up parts as needed.
• Operates company vehicle safely and follows traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections.
• Follows all safety procedures and policies.
