Job summary

TGK Automotive Specialists is seeking a General Service Technician to perform non-technical automotive services such as oil changes, tire and wheel-related work, and related shop duties. You may also drive customers, pick up parts, and help maintain a clean shop environment.

The position offers compensation up to $25 per hour, depending on experience, with benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match. Opportunities for advancement are available.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including weekends.
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Previous automotive experience preferred; open to energetic, motivated individuals with a passion for cars.

Responsibilities

• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services
• Documents vehicle condition using Multi-point Inspection/Repair Order
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop areas
• Drives vehicles safely; transports customers and picks up parts as needed
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections (where applicable)
• Follows safety procedures and company policies
