Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is hiring a General Service Technician in Gilbert, AZ. The role covers non-technical automotive service tasks such as oil changes, tire and wheel services, and light maintenance, while also assisting with driving customers, parts pickup, and shop upkeep.

Compensation starts at $15.15/hr and up, based on experience, with benefits and opportunities for advancement available.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• General understanding of under the hood, mechanical and under carriage assemblies is preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services.
• Documents vehicle condition using the Multi-point Inspection/Repair Order.
• Maintains shop cleanliness including service area, tire racks and showroom.
• Drives vehicles safely and obeys traffic laws.
• Transports customers, picks up parts and equipment as needed.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections where applicable.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to supervisor.
