Job summary

Sun Devil Auto, part of the Sun Auto Network, is a family owned one-stop repair shop in Phoenix. The General Service Technician performs non-technical service repairs such as oil changes, tire and wheel services, and supports shop operations.

Compensation starts at $15.15/hr and up, depending on experience. The Tool and Boot Program provides tools and boots after one year of continuous employment, with advancement opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess current, valid driver's license.
• Possess current or expired State Inspector License or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Under the hood, mechanical and under carriage assemblies basic understanding.
• Ability to work Monday - Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by management.
• Observes vehicle condition and documents needs or safety concerns.
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop, showrooms, and surrounding areas.
• Safely transports customers using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts and tires from vendors or corporate office.
• Operates company vehicle safely and obeys traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections as required.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports concerns to management.
