The role requires completion of training and ASE certifications, with a path to state inspection license and advanced tire service credentials. Work is performed in a shop setting with 40-hour weeks and non-exempt hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Read, analyze, and interpret technical instructions, journal and procedures, or governmental regulations
• Effectively explain vehicle information to customers, present and respond to questions from coworkers
• Diagnose and recommend solutions to basic automotive problems
• Interpret, understand, and apply instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Ability to successfully perform required types of automotive services listed above

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety as Priority #1; follow safety policies and training, report unsafe conditions
• Provide automotive repair and maintenance services (tires, oil changes, MPIs, alignments, preventive maintenance)
• Ensure a valid Service Work Order is initiated and displayed during service
• Complete MPI prior to service and support 5-for-5 Customer Engagement
• Complete Service Work Order and prints and return to Service Desk with keys
• Obtain needed parts from Desk Team and return unused parts after service
• Return cores and used tires to designated areas for proper handling
• Maintain minimum 50% productivity over 16 consecutive weeks
• Follow VIP quality service policies to ensure work meets standards
• Complete required training and certification for the position
• Perform other required duties as assigned
