Job summary

Boyd's Tire & Service in Central Ohio is seeking a General Service Technician to perform non-technical service tasks such as oil changes, tire services, and alignments while working with ASE-certified technicians. This entry-level role offers training to advance toward ASE certification and a pathway for career growth.

Pay ranges from $17-22 per hour depending on experience, with benefits including bi-weekly pay, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, holidays, insurance, a company-matched

Qualifications

• Previous automotive experience preferred; energetic and hardworking individuals considered.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operate company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
• Conduct State Safety and Emission Inspections following guidelines and safety procedures.
• Perform tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Perform oil changes and basic services as directed by Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Identify obvious repairs or safety concerns and document them for the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
