Job summary

Boyd’s Tire & Service is seeking a General Service Technician in Central Ohio. You will perform non-technical preventive services such as oil changes and tire-related tasks, working alongside ASE-certified technicians and pursuing growth toward ASE certification.

Compensation ranges from $17 to $22 per hour based on experience. Benefits include paid time off, tuition reimbursement, health plans, a 401(k) plan with company match, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive service is preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to pass an MVR and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business.
• Picks up parts and tires from vendors.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, balancing and rotation.
• Conducts basic services including oil changes as directed by supervisor.
• Keeps shop clean and adheres to safety procedures.
