Job summary

Boyd’s Tire & Service in Central Ohio is hiring a General Service Technician to perform non-technical service repairs, oil changes, tire and wheel work, and basic vehicle maintenance alongside ASE Certified Technicians.

You will receive training to progress toward ASE certification; compensation is $17-$22 per hour depending on experience, with benefits including insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Automotive experience preferred; willing to train energetic individuals.
• Able to work Monday–Saturday.
• Must have a valid driver's license and pass MVR and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and basic services as directed.
• Assist with tire mounting, balance, and rotation.
• Transport customers as needed and maintain shop cleanliness.
• Follow safety procedures and report concerns.
