Job summary

Acura Columbus is seeking Automotive Service Technicians to join our busy service department. In this role you will diagnose, repair, and maintain Honda/Acura vehicles, follow dealership standards, and communicate with parts staff. We offer paid relocation, paid training, a $2,000 sign-on bonus, and a 5-day work week with rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Experience as an automotive service technician in a dealership environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Experience at Acura/Honda dealership preferred.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with shop equipment and diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs as listed on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy per dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Coordinate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Save and tag parts for warranties or customer requests.
• Inspect vehicles to identify additional safety or service needs.
• Road-test vehicles as required or refer to the test technician.
• Keep the shop area neat and account for all dealership tools.
• Follow all safety policies and report accidents to a supervisor.
