Job summary

Kunes Auto Group in Sterling, IL is seeking Experienced Automotive Technicians to join our fast-growing Midwest team. You’ll perform inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance in a state-of-the-art facility with a strong emphasis on quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a Service Tech required.
• ASE or OEM certifications a plus.
• Valid driver's license and a passion for all things automotive.
• Your own tools

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections of new/used vehicles and identify any mechanical or electrical issues
• Conduct diagnostic tests to determine the root cause of any issues
• Repair or replace parts as necessary, such as brakes, tires, belts, hoses, and suspension systems
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance work are completed to a high standard and in a timely manner
• Communicate with the service manager and provide recommendations for any repairs or maintenance work that may be needed
