Job summary

Kunes Auto Group is seeking an Experienced Automotive Tech to join our Woodstock CDJR team. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles, and perform routine maintenance to high standards.

We offer a compensation range of $25.00-$50.00 per hour flat rate based on experience, plus sign-on up to $10K for qualified candidates, paid training and ASE reimbursement, full benefits, and daily pay options.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a Service Tech.
• ASE certification is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and a passion for automotive.
• Must have your own tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections of vehicles and identify issues.
• Conduct diagnostic tests to determine root causes.
• Repair or replace parts such as brakes, tires, belts, hoses, and suspension.
• Perform routine maintenance like oil changes and tire rotations.
• Ensure repairs are completed to a high standard and timely.
• Communicate with service manager and provide repair recommendations.

What You'll Do:

• Perform thorough inspections of new/used vehicles and identify any mechanical or electrical issues
• Conduct diagnostic tests to determine the root cause of any issues
• Repair or replace parts as necessary, such as brakes, tires, belts, hoses, and suspension systems
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance work are completed to a high standard and in a timely manner
• Communicate with the service manager and provide recommendations for any repairs or maintenance work that may be needed

Requirements

You're Our Ideal Candidate If You Have:

• 1+ plus years of experience as a Service Tech required
• ASE certification a plus
• Valid driver's license and a passion for all things automotive
• Your own tools
