Job summary

Village Cadillac Toyota, part of the Dimmitt Automotive Group, is seeking a Service Technician in Homosassa Springs, FL. The role emphasizes customer satisfaction and profitability for the service department.

A sign-on bonus up to $10,000 is offered and the shop is temperature-controlled with state-of-the-art equipment. The technician will service and repair vehicles as assigned, conduct pre-delivery checks on new vehicles, and ensure compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Post-secondary automotive training, certification, or equivalent work experience.
• ASE Certification preferred.
• Broad automotive mechanical/electrical knowledge.
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.
• Able to drive both automatic and manual transmissions.
• Good communication, customer service, and problem solving skills.
• Professional and dependable.
• Safety and customer service oriented.
• Basic computer and internet skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses issues based on experience, analysis, and testing.
• Performs routine service inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobs.
• Repairs vehicles as assigned.
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicles while performing service or repairs.
• Ensures that required documentation is complete and in compliance with regulations and standards.
• Helps maintain shop appearance and safety standards.
• Attends meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
