Job summary

Fox Auto Team in El Paso, TX, seeks an experienced Service Technician – Automotive to perform repairs to manufacturer standards and diagnose issues efficiently. You will communicate with parts, document work, and participate in training programs; ASE certifications encouraged.

This is a full-time, on-site position with ongoing support, competitive benefits, and opportunities for growth within the Fox Auto Team family.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing and repairing vehicle systems to manufacturer standards.
• ASE certifications encouraged or preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performs work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnoses cause of malfunctions and performs repairs.
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Saves and tags parts of the job when under warranty or requested by customer.
• Examines the vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required.
• Sells lubrication, safety inspections, and related services.
• Drains oil and refills with required amount.
• Replaces oil and filters.
• Inspects fluid levels and replenishes as necessary.
• Checks tire pressure and adds air as needed.
• Notifies service advisor if additional work is needed or cannot be completed on time.
• Documents all work performed on the repair order.
• Road tests vehicles when required.
• Participates in manufacturer training and events.
• Keeps abreast of manufacturer bulletins.
