Job summary

Mavis Tire is hiring General Service Technicians in the Hackettstown, NJ area. This full-time role involves tire mounting/dismounting, oil changes, fluid checks, inspections, and other basic maintenance.

Paid training is provided, with opportunities to grow into Alignment Technician, Automotive Mechanic, Service Manager and other leadership roles. We offer competitive weekly pay, weekly incentive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and a team-oriented environment at our many locations

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on automotive environment.
• Have a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Completing oil and filter changes.
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Following established safety and service procedures.
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles.
