Job summary

PEP BOYS / Mavis Tire is seeking full-time General Service Technicians in the Hainesport, NJ area. You will perform essential tire and basic maintenance tasks, working with experienced automotive professionals to grow your hands-on skills.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced hands-on automotive environment.
• Previous automotive experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Performing flat tire repairs
• Completing oil and filter changes
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Following established safety and service procedures
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles
