Pep Boys / Mavis Tire is seeking full-time General Service Technicians to join Team Mavis at our Woodside, NY area service centers. We offer paid training, steady pay, and opportunities to grow within the nation’s largest automotive service organization.

As a General Service Technician, you’ll perform essential maintenance, tire services, and inspections to keep customers safely on the road. Join a team-focused, growth-oriented environment with plenty of hands-on development.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on automotive environment.
• Have a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service.
• Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not required.
• Paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Performing flat tire repairs
• Completing oil and filter changes
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Following established safety and service procedures
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles
