Pep Boys / Mavis Tire in Woodside, NY is seeking full-time General Service Technicians to join Team Mavis at our automotive service centers. You will perform essential tire services, oil changes, fluid checks, and basic maintenance to keep customers safely on the road.

Whether you have automotive experience or are starting out, you will receive paid training, opportunities to advance to Alignment Technician or Automotive Mechanic, and benefits including health insurance and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Oil and filter changes.
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identifying tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Following safety and service procedures.
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of vehicles.
