Job summary

Dahl Automotive in Rhinelander, WI is hiring an Automotive Service Technician to join a busy, state-of-the-art shop. You will perform repairs, diagnostics and routine maintenance with opportunities for growth and manufacturer training.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $55,000–$85,000 annually, plus a yearly production bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO and a 401(k). Weekend free time is common due to a Monday–Friday schedule.

• ASE Certification preferred.
• Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, and brakes.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed of needed services.
• Provide time estimates for additional repairs and services.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
