Bill Dodge Auto Group in Maine is seeking experienced Automotive Service Technicians to join a busy service department. You will perform repairs and maintenance to factory standards, use diagnostic tools, road test vehicles, and complete warranty work with accuracy.

Candidates should have prior professional repair experience, work well in a flat-rate environment, and commit to fixing vehicles right the first time.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose vehicle concerns using advanced diagnostic equipment, inspections, and road tests.
• Repair and maintain engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, and HVAC systems.
• Perform thorough multi-point vehicle inspections and identify additional service needs.
• Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Accurately document the cause, correction, recommendations, and completed repairs on repair orders.
• Communicate findings and additional repair needs clearly and promptly with Service Advisors.
• Work with the Parts Department to obtain necessary parts and keep repairs moving efficiently.
• Accurately account for time spent on each repair
• Stay current with manufacturer technical bulletins, repair procedures, and training requirements
• Complete manufacturer-sponsored training and maintain required certifications
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Assist with the development of apprentice technicians when assigned
