Job summary

Quirk Auto Group is seeking a Service Technician in Bangor to perform vehicle repair and maintenance to dealer and factory standards. You will diagnose issues, communicate with parts, and road-test vehicles to ensure quality.

The role requires reading and following instructions, manual dexterity, and a valid driver’s license. ASE certification is preferred. This in-person position offers full-time hours and growth opportunities within the service department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• ASE certification preferred or successful completion of a pre-employment test.
• Technical or trade school degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance per repair orders, with accuracy and efficiency.
• Coordinate with parts department to obtain needed parts and inform when waiting for parts.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs if authorized by customer.
• Inspect vehicles for additional safety or service work needs.
• Road-test vehicles to verify work and ensure customer vehicles are returned clean.
