Job summary

Herb Chambers Honda of Burlington is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to diagnose and repair customer vehicles, perform routine maintenance, and participate in ongoing training. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction.

You will use standard inspection forms, document work on repair orders, and communicate with service advisors regarding needed work or timelines. A valid license and basic tools are required, with opportunities for growth and certification support.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician experience required.
• Must have basic tools.
• ASE and manufacturer certifications preferred.
• Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine repairs and diagnosis on customer vehicles.
• Make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle.
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Communicate with the service advisor when additional work is needed.
• Maintain technician proficiency as specified by company standards.
• Conduct road tests to verify work completed when appropriate.
