Job summary

Herb Chambers Honda of Burlington is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles to manufacturer specifications with a strong emphasis on quality and safety. The position offers opportunities for professional growth, access to ongoing training, and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will perform routine repairs, document work on repair orders, and communicate with advisors to ensure timely, accurate service. A valid license and basic tools are required.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications heavily preferred.
• Manufacturer certifications heavily preferred.
• Previous automotive technician experience required.
• Must have basic tools.
• Must have great technical and mechanical skills.
• Must be a team player and have the ability to work repetitively on complex tasks.

Responsibilities

• Make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle.
• Document all work performed and recommended on assigned repair order.
• Communicate with service advisor when additional work is needed.
• Maintain technician proficiency as specified by Asbury standards.
• Conduct road test to confirm work was completed.
• Perform all levels of diagnosis and repair on vehicles.
