Burlington Hyundai located in Burlington, NJ, is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to manufacturer standards. You will perform routine maintenance, inspections, and use advanced diagnostic tools.

The ideal candidate has prior automotive technician experience, strong diagnostic skills, and a clean driving record. ASE is preferred but not required; high school diploma or equivalent is necessary, with additional training a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive service technician experience required.
• ASE certification or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools, equipment, and software.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards.
• Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and more.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and provide accurate recommendations for repairs.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems.
• Complete repair orders efficiently and accurately, documenting all work performed.
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely and efficient service for customers.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest automotive technology and service techniques through ongoing training and certification programs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols.
