Job summary

Burlington Hyundai in Burlington, NJ is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to join our busy service department. If you have hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing vehicles and a commitment to quality workmanship, we want to hear from you.

You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose complex issues with modern tools, document work clearly, and collaborate with a skilled team. ASE certification is preferred but not required; a valid driver's license and high school diploma are

Qualifications

• Prior experience as an automotive service technician or mechanic.
• ASE certification or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools, equipment, and software.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards.
• Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and more.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and provide accurate repair recommendations.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems.
• Complete repair orders efficiently and accurately, documenting all work performed.
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely and efficient service for customers.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest automotive technology and service techniques through ongoing training and certification programs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols.
