Job summary

Sun Devil Auto in Phoenix is seeking a General Service Technician to perform non-technical auto care, including oil changes and tire services, and to assist with shop operations. The role involves driving customers, picking up parts, and maintaining a clean, safe shop.

Compensation starts at $15.15/hr and up based on experience, with a benefits package including tuition reimbursement, paid time off, insurance options, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• State Inspector License or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Ability to work Monday - Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services at the direction of the Shop Manager or Store Manager.
• Notes vehicle condition and highlights obvious repairs or safety concerns.
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop and service area.
• Safely transports customers to/from their residence or business using company vehicle.
• Picks up parts and supplies from vendors or the corporate office.
• Operates company vehicle safely and in accordance with traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections following guidelines.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports concerns to management.

Skills
