You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of vehicle systems, work with diagnostic tools, and collaborate with service advisors to keep customers informed and satisfied. Applicants should have GM experience, strong automotive background, and be able to pass a drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• GM experience required.
• ASE certifications ideal.
• Experience in automotive maintenance and repair.
• Teamwork and communication skills essential.
• Willingness to pass drug screen and background check.
• Must have a clean and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering and brakes.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about needed additional services and provide time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
