Job summary

Adams Chevrolet, Inc. is seeking a skilled automotive technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have GM experience, a strong automotive background, and the ability to work well within a team.

ASE certifications are ideal, and you must be willing to pass a drug screen and background check. A clean and valid driver’s license is required. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth in a family-owned dealership environment with a focus on quality

Qualifications

• GM experience with vehicles and repairs.
• ASE certifications are ideal.
• Strong automotive background and mechanical aptitude.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen and background check.
• Clean and valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify issues.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C).
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about needed additional services and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
