Automotive Service Technician

(Entry Level and/or Experienced)

Job Description / Responsibilities

Maintenance / Entry Level Technicians will perform basic maintenance services and minor repairs on customer vehicles as assigned, following dealer and factory standards. They may also assist management with various business functions within the Service Department. A positive, cooperative attitude focused on customer satisfaction is essential. Technicians must adhere to company policies and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Entry Level Technicians will be assigned a Master Technician mentor within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing work specified on repair orders efficiently and according to dealership standards
• Test-driving vehicles and testing components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Communicating with Service Advisors about additional services needed and providing repair estimates
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• ASE certifications are not required to start but are needed to advance through Toyota's Technician Certification Process
• Entry Level / Technical School Student or Graduate / Dealership experience is a plus but not required
• Strong teamwork skills
