Sternberg Automotive Group is seeking a Service Technician for its Louisville, KY area dealerships. The right candidate will have a strong service technician background, with GM certification preferred, and will diagnose and repair vehicles per repair orders.

Qualifications

• Dexterity and steady hand required.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to learn new tech and repair procedures.
• Excellent customer service and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform work on repair orders with efficiency per dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components with diagnostic tools.
• Repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, steering, brakes, A/C.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional repairs and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
