Job summary

Purdy Volkswagen of Bryan College Station is seeking a self-motivated Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles with a focus on safety and quality. You will perform inspections, diagnostics, and routine maintenance while documenting findings and recommendations for service orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or acceptable related experience.
• Experience in automotive maintenance/repair a plus.
• Familiarity with diagnostic procedures and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles per manufacturer guidelines and dealership standards.
• Complete repair orders accurately and document findings, recommendations, and completed work.
• Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, brakes, fluids) and safety checks.
• Communicate repair needs and updates with Service Advisors and colleagues.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe shop environment and follow safety procedures.
