Job summary

Burlington VW in Burlington, NJ is seeking a service technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles to manufacturer standards. You will perform routine maintenance, document all work, and support the service team in delivering high-quality service.

The ideal candidate has automotive technician experience, strong diagnostic skills, and a clean driving record. ASE certification is preferred but not required; ongoing training and career growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an automotive service technician or mechanic is required.
• ASE certification preferred but not required.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards.
• Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and more.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and provide accurate recommendations for repairs.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems.
• Complete repair orders efficiently and accurately, documenting all work performed.
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely and efficient service for our customers.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest automotive technology and service techniques through ongoing training and certification programs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols.
