Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary automotive training preferred.
• Two years dealer-level or large facility experience preferred.
• ASE certification or willingness to obtain certification is a plus.
• Virginia State Inspection License or willingness to obtain license a plus.
• Unrestricted driver's license with clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to drive both automatic and manual transmissions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses issues based on experience, analysis, and testing.
• Performs routine service inspections and maintenance jobs.
• Repairs automobiles and light trucks as assigned.
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicles during service or repairs.
• Ensures documentation complies with regulations and standards.
• Assists with shop safety, inventory, and general duties.
• Attends staff meetings and training as required.
