Job summary

Asbury Automotive Group's Coggin Hyundai DeLand in DeLand, FL is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician (D level) to perform preventive maintenance, light repairs, and inspections with minimal supervision.

You will join a team focused on guest experiences, safety compliance, and continuous learning. The role emphasizes reliability, tool use, and adherence to dealer standards with benefits including weekly pay and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must pass pre-employment screening (background and drug test).
• Automotive technical school certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance.
• Perform basic suspension and steering diagnosis and repair, basic brake diagnosis and repair, alignments, tire repair, fluid maintenance exchange, TPMS repairs.
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Examine assigned vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
• Stay up to date by reading and understanding factory bulletins, covering campaigns, updates and recalls.
