Job summary

Toyota of Tri-Cities in Kennewick, WA is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to perform repairs and maintenance to dealership standards.

You will work in a team-based environment with a 4-day workweek, a climate-controlled shop, and a pay plan that rewards your experience and training.

The role requires 3 years of technician experience, strong diagnostic skills, and a valid driver's license; OEM/dealership experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years of professional Automotive Service Technician experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong automotive diagnostic and repair background.
• Previous OEM/dealership experience preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate customer vehicles as an essential function of the position.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, heating and air conditioning, and related systems.
• Use diagnostic tools and manufacturer-specific service equipment to accurately identify vehicle concerns.
• Test-drive vehicles as necessary to verify customer concerns and completed repairs.
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding additional service or repair needs and estimated completion times.
• Perform warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.

Actual compensation within the posted range is based on applicable experience, training, certifications, and qualifications. Additional compensation, if applicable, will be described as part of the hiring process.
