Job Description

Russell Barnett CDJR is looking to add a new Automotive Technician to their team. This person will be responsible for repairing vehicles and performing ongoing maintenance for our loyal customers.

The ideal candidate will have previous automotive experience working with various engines, be reliable, exhibit teamwork, and contribute positively to our organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, transmission flushes, air conditioner re-charges, front end alignments, inspections, battery installations, and headlight/taillight replacements.
2. Conduct diagnostic procedures using diagnostic tools to identify issues and provide accurate repair recommendations.
3. Manage paperwork, ensuring it is legible and accurate for both customers and records.
4. Maintain a clean and safe work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• ASE certification from a trade or technical school in automotive or engineering is desirable.
• At least 3 years of experience as a service technician.
• Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment is essential.
• Willingness to participate in in-house training.
• Ability to operate all auto repair tools.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
