Job summary

FAH LLC is seeking a Certified Service Technician to join our growing automotive dealership team. The right candidate will perform repairs on repair orders, diagnose needed work, and contribute to delivering an outstanding customer experience.

We promote from within, offer ongoing training, and provide flexible schedules, competitive pay, and strong earning potential in a fast-paced setting located in a prime high-traffic area.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of service technician experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Dealership or automotive service experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor regarding necessary additional services.
• Provide time estimates for services and execute repairs to manufacturer specifications, including warranty work.

We are looking for a Certified Service Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong service technician background. The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing what repairs need to be done.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience at a dealership is preferred
• B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
• Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications Valid driver's license and clean driving record
