Russ Darrow Group is seeking an Automotive Technician/Mechanic in Waukesha, WI for a full-time, day-shift position. The role involves performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicle systems, diagnosing issues, and collaborating with service advisors to provide accurate labor estimates.

Continuous training and certification opportunities are provided. You will work with modern tools in a dealership environment, contribute to vehicle inspections, and ensure repairs meet manufacturer

Responsabilités

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks as an Automotive Technician/Mechanic, adhering to dealership and manufacturer guidelines.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain engine, transmission, brakes, steering, and suspension.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
• Conduct test drives and inspections to confirm proper repairs.
• Provide accurate labor and time estimates; collaborate with service and parts advisors.
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs to the service advisor.
• Stay updated on new automotive technologies through training and certifications.
• Inspect and test new vehicles; document findings to ensure repairs meet standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks as an Automotive Technician/Mechanic, adhering to dealership and manufacturer guidelines.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, steering, and suspension.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues effectively.
• Conduct test drives and inspections to confirm proper repairs have been completed by the automotive technician team.
• Provide accurate labor and time estimates for repairs, collaborating with service advisors and parts advisors.
• Clearly explain mechanical diagnoses and necessary repairs to the service advisor.
• Stay updated on new automotive technologies and best practices through formal training sessions and certifications.
• Inspect and test new vehicles, documenting findings to ensure all repairs align with mechanic and technician standards.
