Job summary

Mark Mazda Scottsdale is looking for a Service Technician to join our on-site team in Scottsdale, AZ. You will perform repair work per service orders, test-drive vehicles, diagnose systems, and communicate estimates to customers.

Applicants should have a strong automotive background, be able to work well in a team, and be willing to pass a drug screen and background check. A valid driver’s license is required. We offer competitive pay and a supportive environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong automotive background and hands-on repair experience.
• Ability to work in a team and follow dealership processes.
• Must pass drug screen and background check; must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about needed additional services and provide time estimates for repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
