Job summary

Martin Automotive Group in Ontario, CA, is seeking an Automotive Service Technician for Subaru of Ontario. You will diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems, communicate with Service Advisors, and perform repairs per warranty and manufacturer specs.

We offer a $34.00–$40.00 flat rate hourly pay with productivity incentives, plus a sign-on bonus up to $3,000 depending on certifications and experience, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and 401k.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as an auto technician at minimum.
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Strong customer service and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently per dealership policies.
• Test components and systems using diagnostic tools; test drive vehicles.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional needed services and complete inspection reports.

Martin Automotive Group is looking for an Automotive Service Technician to join our team at our Subaru of Ontario dealership. Come be a part of a team determined to be the best!

• Up to $3,000 sign-on bonus, dependent upon certifications and experience

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies
• Test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment; test drive vehicles
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Complete online multi-point inspection report
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Requirements

• Must have at least 2 years of experience as an auto technician
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
• Fast learner
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good customer service skills
• Team player
• Computer literate
• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Valid driver's license
• Manufacturer certifications preferred
